Dedior’s Tips

  • African bitter kola (petit cola) has a bold, naturally bitter flavor. Start with 2 nuts and adjust to your taste.
  • Dates naturally balance the bitterness while adding sweetness—no refined sugar is needed.
  • Fresh ginger complements the bitter kola beautifully and adds a refreshing kick.
  • Fresh lime juice is optional but brightens the overall flavor.

  • In many West African cultures, African bitter kola has long been enjoyed and is traditionally associated with vitality and stamina, making it a cherished ingredient for generations.
  • Chill the juice well before serving for the best flavor.
  • Shake well before serving, as natural separation is normal.
  • Store refrigerated and enjoy within 2–3 days.
