Tangerine Jackfruit Pineapple Juice

Bring the taste of the tropics to your table with this refreshing Tangerine Jackfruit Pineapple Juice. Sweet tangerines, juicy ripe pineapple, and naturally sweet jackfruit blend together to create a smooth, fruity drink that’s perfect for family gatherings, parties, or even a small juice business. The addition of vanilla sugar and pineapple extract helps balance the distinctive flavor of jackfruit, creating a deliciously refreshing juice.

Ingredients

  • 15 sweet tangerines, peeled
  • 2 large ripe pineapples
  • 1 lb fresh jackfruit flesh (seedless)
  • 500 ml water (for blending)
  • 1 liter water (to extract additional juice from the pulp)
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • Pineapple extract, to taste
  • Juice of 3 fresh limes
  • Optional: Sugar to taste (if desired)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit

Wash the pineapples and tangerines thoroughly.

Peel the pineapples and reserve the flesh.

Peel all of the tangerines and separate them into individual segments.

If using fresh jackfruit, remove the seeds and keep only the flesh.

Step 2: Blend

Blend the pineapple flesh.

Blend the tangerines.

Blend the jackfruit flesh.

Use approximately 500 ml of water while blending to help achieve a smooth consistency.

Step 3: Extract More Juice

Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer.

Return the fruit pulp to a bowl and add approximately 1 liter of water.

Mix well to extract any remaining juice.

If the pulp still contains plenty of juice, you can add a little more water as needed before straining again.

For the smoothest texture, strain a final time using cheesecloth.

Step 4: Finish the Juice

Add the vanilla sugar.

Add a small amount of pineapple extract and stir well.

Squeeze in the juice of 3 fresh limes.

Mix thoroughly and refrigerate until well chilled before serving.

Tips

  • Jackfruit has a naturally strong aroma and distinctive aftertaste. The vanilla sugar and pineapple extract help create a smoother, more balanced flavor.
  • If you are not a fan of jackfruit, simply leave it out. The tangerine and pineapple combination is delicious on its own.
  • Because the fruit is naturally sweet, you may not need to add any sugar at all.
  • For commercial sales, you may choose to add a small amount of sugar if you prefer a sweeter, more consistent flavor profile.

Storage

Store refrigerated and serve well chilled.

For frozen juice sachets, package the strained juice immediately and freeze.

About the water

Yes, 500 ml for blending plus about 1 liter to rinse the pulp is a good starting point for these ingredients. If, after the second extraction, the pulp still feels very juicy, you can add another 250–500 ml of water and strain again. Stop once the pulp is mostly dry and no longer releases much juice, so the final drink stays flavorful rather than becoming diluted.
